Parth started learning tabla at the age of 5. Ustaad Sudhirkumar Saxena was his guruji. Ustaad Sudhirkumar Saxena was also the guruji to tabla legend Ustaad Zakir Hussain for learning Ajrada Gharana.
Parth is a software engineer but tabla is his passion. He found immense pleasure in teaching the tabla to a group of kids, which led to the foundation of Ustaads Corporation.

I began my tabla journey at the age of 10. I picked up the tabla as I was exploring the world of music. Although I initially considered the instrument monotonous, after extensive practice, my finger strength finally allowed me to explore the various range of sounds of the tabla. This is also when I realized the tabla was a beacon of peace for me. I could never let this feeling go, which is why I continued to play and perform the tabla continuously.
The tabla is not a widely known instrument in the Western world, which is why I create fusion music to try to expand the growth of this ancient instrument. I co-founded Ustaads Corporation, a nonprofit organization, with my first mentor, Parth Ghaswala, with the intent of fostering the growth of this instrument and helping the community by donating all proceeds to people in need around the world through BAPS Charities.
Now, I am working towards graduation in tabla and also teaching tabla at BAPS for over 3 years. I find it rewarding to see my students grow in their understanding of and appreciation for this musical instrument, and it brings me further joy knowing that I am helping people around the world and growing awareness about this ancient instrument.
